This weekend = can't wait

oh the world of blogs...

Ok, so we have a blog.  This is nichole, we'll see how often david actually updates this thing (haha). 

We figured this would be a wonderful little way for us to post whats going on in our lives. So you can check in every now and again and we'll give you a preview of our little life.  All you have to do is type in www.1boy1girl1pup.blogspot.com and you'll come right here!

So this week has been crazy.  David and the boys (and some of us girls) at church recorded a live album over 6 weeks to be released on June 23rd.  He's currently in Post Production and is fixing things that go wrong when you do a live recording.  He is having so much fun playing with all of his gear and getting to do what he loves, worship God.  I am lucky to have such a happy husband.  Not to say that its not hard, because its been going non stop for a few weeks now and its taking a toll on the 2 of us in that way.  Your prayers for patience and perseverance are welcomed... haha.  All in all we're both really excited about how much God is moving in the album and can't wait to give it to people!  yay!!!

We got a little pup, for those of you who dont know... her name is LUCY!  She's a 3 year old chihuahua/daschund mix.(our chiweenie)  We found her on craigslist from a girl who inherited her from her grandmother who passed.  Shes Finally used to David and I, she's playing and everything.  We were worried at first because she lived in 3 houses in 3 weeks so she was a bit scared.  Now she's a doll.  She's a cuddler and absolutely loves david.  I'm her mamma but she knows that daddy will spoil her (haha, its adorable).  

oh... and one ear is always up and one is bent.  She's just a smidge too long for a chihuahua... love her.

She's got personality, and shes a bit snobby (what chihuahua isnt) but far less than any other one we've seen. All in all she's a darling...

Thursday morning David, Josh Stump (our senior pastor) and myself will be flying out to Chico, CA to lead a Worship Leaders/Leadership conference. 

I personally am really excited!  1- because i'll get to see the in-laws! and 2- because i really feel like God wants to do something.  I have felt something stirring for that church, so i have just been praying that the Holy Spirit will just pour out for everyone this weekend.. 

How about a little update about work?  I'm working at R Squared Salon (www.rsquaredsalon.com) everyday but friday and sundays.  So once you factor in work at the church, life is buuuuuusy!  But i love it.  I really do.  My cliental is slowly but steadily building and I have been learning so much from my boss and some of the girls around me. We learn from eachother.  Im surrounded by bright colors everyday so that helps me be creative, and if you know me at all i love to be creative... 

At church im working mostly with the prayer ministry team, thats where my heart is, so thats what i really enjoy.

David is at home putting down the last few vocals over dubs for the record!  I'm going home tonight to sing a few backgrounds, which im a little nervous, but it will be cool to have us both on there!  

Cornerstone is in a little over 2 1/2 weeks from now!  This is such a gigantic event for our church.  Ill update more about it later, but you're prayers are appreciated.  We're going to be SO tired... But its worth it!!
